Our academy is positioned right in the heart of historic Lincoln in the Bailgate area. We are within a thirty second walk of Lincoln Castle and within a two-minute walk of Lincoln Cathedral, once, considered the tallest building in the world. In the Bailgate gate, we are lucky to be involved in the world-renowned Lincoln Christmas Market held every December. The school is situated within a ten-minute walk of the famous Steep Hill, Newport Arch, Eastgate, Bishops Palace, Museum of Lincolnshire Life, The Collection Museum and Usher Gallery and within a five-minute drive of the Lincolnshire Showground which hosts the annual Lincolnshire Show every June.

Lincolnshire is one of the UK's largest counties. Part of the East Midlands, Lincolnshire sits on the East coast of England, to the north of Norfolk and the south of Yorkshire - nestled between the Humber and the Wash.

Lincoln is just:

  • 40 miles north east of Nottingham
  • 48 miles south east of Sheffield
  • 50 miles north of Peterborough
  • 70 miles south of York
  • 90 miles north east of Birmingham
  • 150 miles north of London.

Access to Lincoln and Lincolnshire is easier than you may think. The A1 and A46 make the journey from the south and the midlands by road quicker now than ever before.  And from the north and north west, the M180 connecting to the A15 make for a straightforward journey.

There are also train services into the city, and three airports within a 50 mile radius.
